 | HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!this greeting may come in very very late,but it's still counted because it's still within the 15days of lunar chinese new year. as usual,was freaking busy during these days,even on chinese new year.today is the 7th day in the lunar calendar,which is 'ren ri'(day of human).the chinese believe that the 7 days in a week is created my the heaven king(yu wang da ti)and the 7th day is the 'ren ri'.according to trandition,the chinese are suppose to pray to the 'tian gong'(heaven) to receive all the gods back with good luck and fortunes.other than that,singaporens will eat 'lau he/yu sheng' which is some kind of carrot salad with raw fish slices.but this salad are to be eaten with a lot of people standing around the table and mixing the 'yu sheng' by dragging them high up and say some lucky words.after the introduction of the 7th day in the chinese new year,let me start with what happen for the last few days. 28 jan to 31 feb(lunar 12,29 to lunar 1,3) prepare for chinese new year on the 28th and as usual,went to relatives house and 'bai nian'(visit) to collect 'hong bao' (red packets).thought that APA test was on the next day(3 feb) until lawance called and double comfirm the date for test 1feb-2feb when back to school for lessons,prepared for APA test.had a very very nice talk on phone with darling until 1 plus.got4 of the chingay preview tickets. 3feb was preparing for my APA test on the car while my father me drove to school.on the way,he was 'giving' me lessons on the traffic because i mentioned i wanted to learn driving.went home and change for my new job training with gerraline,which ended like 4 plus 5.went to town to watch the chingay parade with willy,andy and lay hoon.before that,went to cineleisure to find my darling and have dinner with gerraline while waiting for the rest of the people.while going to the store,found out that teck guan was given the nickname of ah teck.my gosh,so ah pek(old uncle).haha.while eating dinner,willy was still on the way to wisma to collect his phone on repair and he was late!!did'nt enjoy the chingay very much until the part where all the 'hua che'(decorated lorries) came in and it was so cool.went back to cineleisure to look for darling and ex collegues.nora gave me a big hug which almost cause me to die of safocating,darling also gave 1 tight hug.went home at around 11plus with andy and layhoon,leaving willy at somerset train station because he wants to wait for wei teck and zhi man to finish their road block job at the chingay.met axel(lay hoon's classmate) for supper and talk abit.reached home at around 1 plus and sleep until afternoon today...down here is the pictures on the chingay preview that was taken last night.click this link: www.areukose.blogspot.com |
